% pic_1% \ Ford showed a new generation of police car. Currently, Ford is the market leader with its model Crown Victoria, which is the best selling police car in the U.S. for the past 15 years. \

Ford Police Interceptor improve all standards imposed in the current model segment. To drive the model will offer two new economical engines that will reduce costs to the authorities. The standard 3.5-liter V6 engine has a power over 263 horsepower, while a new 3.5-liter V6 with direct injection with turbocharger and two 250 hp power and 480 Nm of torque replaces the current gasoline V8. Both are combined with 6-speed automatic transmission and 4x4 drive is smart for better stability at high speed chases. \

The car has an extremely high level of active and passive safety, a number of intelligent systems, cameras and is fully equipped as required by the authorities. \

Ford HE ADDED that will develop a special police SUV for more specific needs that will offer in 2012 with the new Police Interceptor.
